A few weeks ago, we did some photos for models Vivienne Barclay and Cassie Giblin. Make up was by Bombshell Makeup & Beauty, hair by KTS Mobile Hair, and jewellery supplied by Exquisite Jewels for Hire.
A few months back, we did a photo shoot with local Newcastle models Taylah C and Cassie Giblin. Here are some of my favourite images from the day. This was for some personal concepts of mine and I love working on them. Thanks to the models, makeup and all involved, it could not have evolved without them. Make up and location was provided by Yvonne at Bombshell Makeup & Beauty in the Lake Macquarie area.
One of my favourite locations to photograph here in the Newcastle region is Merewether Ocean Baths. It always looks great and there is so much variety and photo opportunities and angles to choose from. Combined with a colourful sunrise or sunset, it is something spectacular. It was opened in 1935 and is the largest ocean baths complex in the southern hemisphere.
Here are a display of some of my favourite images I have made at Merewether Baths in the past. Thanks for stopping by.

This is a great program for landscape photographers. Have you been ever out on a landscape photo shoot and wanted to know where exactly the sun and moon would rise and set. This program written by Stephen Trainor does just that. You get an embedded Google Maps layout on the left where you can find the location of your choice, select the date you’re after and it will let you know what time and angles the sun (and moon) will rise and fall at.
And if you have ever found that great location and the sun is in the wrong spot, you can look forward into the future and know exactly what time of the year is the best time to photograph that location.
If you have thought about “I wonder what time of year the sun would be in that direction”, now you can find out!
